Across Oklahoma City, thousands of children are searching. The children and youth in our community face many challenges. Drug use is rampant in our area, and it impacts children’s lives in countless ways. Hunger, homelessness, child abuse, gangs, domestic violence, and the temptations of drugs, alcohol, and premature sex all constantly bombard our children and threaten their futures.
The greatest need for at-risk children and need is relationships with caring adults. All of our programs are intentionally relational and encourage volunteers to get to know children and their families. You can make a difference in a child’s life – donate or volunteer today!
Mentoring is an intentional friendship between a caring role model and a child or teen. Mentors meet weekly with their child on Mondays from 6 to 7 PM and assist with reading, schoolwork, and character development. Approximately 100 youth participate every year. Apply online or complete this form and the coordinator will contact you with more information.
